Learned counsel for the petitioner Sri Vivek Saran (now Hon'ble Justice Vivek Saran) has since been elevated to Bench. 2. When the Court was inclined to issue notice to engage new counsel, Mr. B.K.Singh Raghuvanshi, learned counsel for the respondents submitted that entire payment as prayed by the petitioner has been paid to him, therefore, petition has rendered infructuous. 3. We have perused the prayer and compliance affidavit filed by the respondents. Prayer of petition is being quoted hereinbelow:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent nos. 2, 3, 4 & 5 be directed to pay the sum of Rs.13,38,957/- (Rupees Thirteen Lakhs Thirty Eight Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty Seven only) with 18% interest to the petitioner within stipulated period of time. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.3 to decide the representation dated 25.1.2021 of the petitioner within a specific period of time." 4. Further in paragraph 2 & 3 of the compliance affidavit, it is stated that entire amount has been paid to petitioner. 5. Therefore, under such facts and circumstances, the writ petition is dismissed. 6. However, liberty is given to petitioner to file fresh petition for the interest, if so advised.
