ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of the India seeking the following reliefs:-
“to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents more particularly Respondent No.5 inaction of the respondent in updating the revenue records in favor of the petitioner by considering the application/representation dated 28.01.2025 submitting by the petitioner in relation to the land to an extent of Ac.1.42 cents in Sy.No.886/7, Chinthakommadinne Village and Mandal, Kadapa (rural) sub-division, Kadapa District on petitioner’s name as illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory, unjust, contrary to the provisions under AP Rights in land and Pattadhar Passbook Act, 1971, violative of Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and in violation of principles of natural justice and consequently to direct the Respondent No.5 to consider the representation of petitioner dated 28.01.2025 and to mutate and incorporate petitioner’s name in all the revenue records and web portal of meebhoomi and any other web portals pertaining to the land in an extent of Ac.1.42 cents in Sy.No.886/7, Chinthakommadinne Village and Mandal, Kadapa (rural) sub-division, Kadapa District and to further issue pattadhar passbook and title deeds in favour of petitioner and pass such other order.”
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner purchased the land admeasuring to an extent of Ac.1.42 cents in Sy.No.886/7, Chinthakommadinne Village and Mandal,

Kadapa (rural) sub-division, Kadapa District through a registered sale deed dated 26.10.2016. Later, the petitioner made a mee- seva/spandana application dated 27.11.2023 for mutation of his name in the web land and revenue records. In reply to the said application, the 5th respondent issued an endorsement dated 22.12.2023 directing the petitioner to submit all the necessary documents proving his title.
The petitioner submitted all the required documents, but the same were not received by the respondent authorities. Again, the petitioner made a representation dated 28.01.2025 to the 5th respondent requesting to mutate his name in the revenue records. But till date the respondents did not consider the same. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 4. Learned Government Pleader for the respondents submits that the respondents will consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.01.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a reasonable time. 5. In view of the submission of the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, this Court need not decide the truth or otherwise of the allegations made in the petition. This Court is conscious that no such direction be issued, in view of the judgment of the Apex Court in “The Government of India v. P.Venkatesh1”, wherein the Apex Court held that such orders may make for a quick

or easy disposal of cases in overburdened adjudicatory institutions. Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.01.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after providing opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of period of two(2) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel miscellaneous application, pending, if any, shall also stand closed. ________________________________
