Award (Passed on 08.03.2025) 1) A compromise document has been filed duly signed by the learned counsel for the appellant and respondent No.3/ The New India Assurance Company Limited recording a compromise to the effect that respondent No.3/ Insurance Company would pay an additional sum of Rs.70,000/- to the appellant in addition to SMT NIRMALA RAO the sum already awarded by the learned Claims Tribunal within a period of 60 days from today. 2) Accordingly, the appeal stands compromised subject to the Insurance Company/ respondent No.3 depositing a sum of Rs.70,000/- within a period of 60 days from today before the concerned Claims Tribunal. In case of default in payment within the stipulated time, the additional sum of Rs.70,000/- shall carry an interest @ 6% per annum from the date of filing of the claim application till payment. 3) Consequently, the instant appeal stands disposed of.
