In the facts of the case, we call upon learned Standing Counsel to obtain instructions from the respondents and apprise the Court as to what action has been taken on petitioner's application for issuance of death certificate. 2. Post as fresh on 11.03.2025." Instructions have been obtained from the authorities by learned State Counsel, according to which, the death certificate has been issued to the petitioner on 27.02.2025. It is also stated that the application was made Online as such it was not noticed and due to inadvertence, death certificate could not be issued earlier. It is unfortunate that people have to file writ petition even to obtain copy of the death certificate. Such matter should not come to the High Court. It is for the district authorities to ensure that such grievances are redressed at the local level itself. In that view of the matter, we direct the District Magistrate, Varanasi to examine the issue and ensure that such issues are appropriately redressed at the local level itself and there is no requirement for common citizen to come to the High Court for such purposes. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of. Order Date :- 11.3.2025 rkg Digitally signed by :- RAKESH KUMAR GAUTAM High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
