Satyen Vaidya, Judge (Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue involved in the instant petition had already been settled by Hon’ble Supreme Court, vide its judgment dated 06.02.2025, passed in Civil Appeal No. 1595 of 2025, titled as The State of Himachal Pradesh and Ors. Vs. Surajmani and Anr. 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 Neutral Citation No. ( 2025:HHC:5346 ) 2. He further submits that since, the case of the petitioner is squarely covered by the aforesaid judgment, respondent No. 2 be directed to consider and decide the case of the petitioner strictly in terms thereof within a time bound manner. 3. Prayer being innocuous is not opposed. 4. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the case of the petitioner strictly in terms of the judgment dated 06.02.2025, passed in Civil Appeal No. 1595 of 2025, titled as The State of Himachal Pradesh and Ors. Vs. Surajmani and Anr. within a period of eight weeks from today by passing a detailed and reasoned order. 5. In case, the petitioner is found similarly situated to the respondent in Civil Appeal No. 1595 of 2025, he shall be granted all the benefits as have been made available to the respondents in Civil Appeal No. 1595 of 2025, titled as The State of Himachal Pradesh and Ors.
