The present petition has been filed challenging the order dated 29.11.2024 passed by District Magistrate, Banda cancelling the mining lease of the petitioner and also blacklisting the petitioner for a period of two years. The order also directs recovery of amount of Rs.5,92,36,400/- with interest from the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays that the petition be dismissed as withdrawn to enable him to exercise the remedy of revision as provided under Rule 80 of U.P. Minor Minerals (Concession) Rules, 2021 (hereinafter referred to as "the Rules, 2021"). However, he states that the revision may be time barred under Rule 80. 3. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. 4. However, in case the petitioner files the revision within 15 days from today, the State Government shall consider the same on merits.
