The petitioner has preferred the present petition with the following prayers:- i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of issue an ad- interim certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 31.08.2024 passed by District Magistrate, Gorakhpur (respondent no.2) (Annexure No.1 to the writ petition); ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to conclude the first enquiry initiated set-up by the respondents then pass order for second enquiry; 2. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner confined his prayer only to the prayer No.2, i.e., to direct the respondents to conclude the inquiry initiated against the petitioner. 3. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection, if the inquiry has been concluded within a time bound period. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the confinement of prayer, the present petition is disposed of directing the authority concerned before whom the inquiry initiated against the petitioner is pending to conclude the inquiry most expeditiously and preferably within a period of four months from today. 6. Sri Dharmendra Prasad Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel is directed to communicate a copy of t his order to the District Magistrate, Maharajganj within a week.
