By means of the present criminal writ petition, petitioner has challenged the FIR No.193 of 2021 dated 09.08.2021, for the offences punishable under Sections 324, 498-A and 504 of IPC, registered with P.S. Kathgodam, District Nainital. 5. Learned State Counsel submits that after investigation, charge-sheet has been submitted by the police on 22.11.2021 against the petitioner. 6. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the said charge-sheet was challenged by the present petitioner in C482 No.1056 of 2023 along with a compounding application (IA/1/2023) under the aforementioned Sections and the proceedings of Criminal Case No.592 of 2022 State Vs. Govind Singh Bhouriyal, pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Haldwani, District Nainital, were dropped. Photocopy of the order dated 08.06.2023 passed in C482 No.1056 of 2023 is made available to this Court by learned counsel for the petitioner. He therefore submits that nothing remains to be decided in the present matter and it has rendered infructuous. 7. Accordingly, the present criminal writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. 8. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
