This Application under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed for quashing the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.4628 of 2025, pending before the court of Ist Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun under Sections 420, 504 and Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 2. Mr. Ankur Sharma, learned counsel for the applicant-accused. 3. Mr. Tumul Nainwal, learned Assistant Government Advocate for the respondent no.1. 4. Mr. Vaibhav Singh Chauhan, learned counsel 1 2025:UHC:8512 for the respondent no.2/Informant-victim. 5. Applicant-accused Neeraj is present in- person. He is identified by Mr. Ankur Sharma, Advocate. 6. Mr. Than Singh Rawat, the respondent no.2/ informant-victim is present through video conferencing. He is identified by Mr. Vaibhav Singh Chauhan, Advocate. 7. Both, the applicant and the respondent no.2 submitted that there were private disputes between them. They have settled their disputes and after resolving their disputes, they have filed a Compounding Application (IA No.1 of 2025) and affidavits with their free will and without any pressure. 8. The respondent no.2/informant-victim has requested to quash the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.4628 of 2025. 9. The said request has not been opposed by the learned counsel for the respondent no.1. 10. In the facts and circumstances of the case, ends of justice would be met if the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.4628 of 2025, pending before the court of Ist Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun, are quashed. 2 2025:UHC:8512 11.
