By means of the present criminal writ petition, petitioner has challenged the FIR No.636 of 2021 dated 20.10.2021, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 323, 504 IPC and under Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, registered with P.S. Kotwali Gangnahar, Roorkee, District Haridwar. 4. It is informed by the learned State Counsel that after investigation, charge-sheet dated 11.04.2022 has been filed by the Police against petitioner, therefore, nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition and it has become infructuous. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he wants to challenge the said charge-sheet in the appropriate proceedings before the appropriate forum. 6. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the parties, the present criminal writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, it is open to petitioner to challenge the charge-sheet in appropriate proceedings, before the appropriate forum. 7. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
