A K ROY, MR. T R SARMA Advocate for the Respondent : PP, ASSAM, BEFORE HONOURABLE MRS. JUSTICE MITALI THAKURIA ORDER Date : 22-04-2025 Heard Mr. T.R. Sarma, the learned counsel for the applicants. Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State respondent and Dr. P. Agarwal, the learned Amicus Curiae for respondent no. 2. Page No.# 2/2 2. This interlocutory application has been filed praying for correction of the name of the petitioner No. 1 in the cause title of the Bail Application No. 1001/2025 in connection with Mangaldoi P.S. Case No. 41/2025 u/s 3(5), 117(2), 118(2), 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) read with Section 12, 21(2) of POCSO Act, 2012. 3. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners that in the cause title of the Bail Application No. 1001/2025 the name of the petitioner No. 1 has been inadvertently and wrongly typed as “Imanul Haque” instead of “Inamul Hoque” though in the forwarding report and also in the F.I.R. the name of the accused/petitioner no. 1 has been shown as Inamul Hoque. 4. After hearing the submission made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant, I have perused the case record of Bail Application No. 1001/2025. It is an admitted fact that the name of the petitioner No. 1 has been inadvertently and wrongly typed in the cause title as “Imanul Haque” instead of “Inamul Hoque” though in the forwarding report and also in the F.I.R. the name of the accused/petitioner no. 1 has been shown as Inamul Hoque. 5. In view of above and also considering the fact that the mistake being typographical/inadvertent in nature, I hereby allow the present interlocutory application. Accordingly, the name of the petitioner No. 1 shall be read as “Inamul Hoque” instead of “Imanul Haque”. 6. In terms of above, this interlocutory application stands disposed of.
