1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent authority who are not making payment of compensation towards the land acquired and utilized by the respondent for construction of Sakti to Tundri Marg under the ADB Project. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on 03.07.2021, the Collector and the SDO respondent no. 3 have proposed for purchase of land bearing khasra No. 74/1 situated at village Taulipali P.H.No. 9, R.I. Circle Adbhar Tahsil Adbhar, District Sakti Chhattisgarh. On the said proposal the petitioner has given his consentl. After submission of the said proposal road has been constructed over the land in question, however the amount towards the said land as proposed by the respondent on 03.07.2021 has not been released to the petitioner till date, in spite of the repeated request made by the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the State would submit that if the proposed amount as per the purchase proposal dated 03.07.2021 has not been released to the petitioner till date, the Collector Sakti shall look into the grievance of the petitioner and the amount if not disputed the same shall be released within a stipulated period. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings as well as the proposal sent by the Collector/ the Land Acquisition OfÏcer for purchase of land of the villagers including the
3 petitioner and the petitioner has submitted his consent which has been annexed by the petitioner at page 19 & 21.
As the proposal has been made on 03.07.2021 and road has already been constructed, the Collector Sakti is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner immediately and if the proposed amount has not been released to the petitioner till date and the amount is not in dispute in any manner, the same shall be released within a period of 20 days from today. The petitioner is at liberty to apprise the Collector about the order passed by this Court. 5. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Sd/-
