1. Heard Mr. Malay Shrivastava, learned counsel for the appellant. Also heard Mr. S.S. Baghel, learned Deputy Government Advocate for respondent / State and Mr. S.S. Marhas, learned counsel for respondent No.2.
2. The appellant had filed the present appeal with the following prayer :
“It is, therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this appeal; set aside the
order dated 13/02/2025 passed by the Hon'ble Single Judge in Writ Petition (C) No.866/2025 and consequently allow the writ petition of the petitioner in the interest of justice.”
3. The present appeal has been preferred assailing the order dated 13.02.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge in WPC No. 866 of 2025, whereby the learned Single Judge has dismissed the writ petition preferred by the writ petitioner / appellant as not maintainable.
4. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the elections in which acceptance of nomination paper of the respondent No. 6 was the issue raised by the learned counsel for the appellant have
3 already been concluded, and even the results have also been announced, as such, the present appeal has become infructuous.
