Respondent(s) (Cause-title taken from the Case Information System) For Petitioner(s) : Mr. Vidya Bhushan Soni, Advocate For State : Mr. Mayur Khandelwal, Panel Lawyer For Union of India : Ms. Anmol Sharma, Central Govt. Counsel SB- Hon'ble Shri Justice Amitendra Kishore Prasad Order On Board 22.03.2025 1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs :- “10.1 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly 2 be pleased to direct the respondent authority to provide the fair and just compensation and the multiplier coded is about 2(two). 10.2 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authority to provide interest about 4 years because the petitioner is not faulty in this matter and it is the respondent authority who has delayed the matter.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is aggrieved against notification dated 11/10/2021 wherein the Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) cum Land Acquisition Officer, Durg has fix the multiplier of 1.00(one) in calculating the compensation for land situated in village Chardrakhuri, P.H. no 29, Tahsil – Durg, Distt. - Durg and the amount shows in the said notification is so meager. After acquisition of land, award has been passed, however, information of the same has not been given to the petitioner. Petitioner was not aware about passing of the award and quantum of award, as such he has moved an application before Land Acquisition Officer cum Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Durg raising his grievance. Application was filed way back on 02.11.2021, however, it is yet to be decided. It is contention of learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner is seeking limited prayer for directing respondent No. 3 to consider representation dated 02.11.2021 submitted by petitioner in a pragmatic manner and decide the same. 3. Learned counsel for the respective respondents submits that in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, they are having no objection. If no decision is yet taken on the representation 3 dated 02.11.2021 submitted by petitioner, it will be considered in accordance with law. 4. Considering facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner is directed to pursue his representation dated 02.11.2021 before the authorities concerned and in turn, the authority concerned are directed to consider the same and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 5. With this observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. Sd/- (Amitendra Kishore Prasad) Shayna Judge Digitally signed by SHAYNA KADRI
