The election is of the Bar Association, which is a society registered under the provisions of the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Various factual issues raised with regard to conduct of election cannot be gone into in a writ. Remedy of the petitioner would be to approach the authorities under the Act of 1860 or to file a suit.
