By this application, the applicant Nos. 1 & 2, who are the writ petitioner Nos. 4 & 5 in WP(C)/4764/2024 are praying for deletion of their names from the area of petitioners on the ground that they have been appointed temporarily as Assistant Professor in the Government Engineering Colleges of Assam as per the Regulation 3(f) of the APSC (Limitation of Functions) Regulation, 1951. 3. Considering the submission made and Mr. S. Das, learned Standing Counsel, Higher Education Department, has also no objections, the prayer for deletion of names of the applicant Nos. 1 & 2 as the petitioner Nos. 4 & 5 in Page No.# 3/3 WP(C)/4764/2024 is allowed. 4.
