According to petitioner, he was engaged as security guard in 2012 through outsourcing agency in Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pant Nagar. According to him, his engagement was orally terminated without any notice or opportunity. Thus feeling aggrieved, petitioner has approached this Court, seeking the following reliefs: “i) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to reinstate the services of the petitioner on the post of Security Supervisor and pay him regular salary with all consequential benefits. ii) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to take a decision on the application dated 08.08.2025, moved by the petitioner for reinstate his services (Annexure No. 4 to the writ petition).” 3. Mr. S.S. Lingwal, learned counsel appearing for the University, however, submits that the contractor through which petitioner was engaged by University, was changed from time to time and lastly petitioner was engaged through GDF Private Limited and now the 2025:UHC:8013 contractor has sent the petitioner for duties in SIDCUL. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner, however, submits that petitioner has made an application, enclosed as Annexure-4 to the writ petition, therefore, the Joint Director, Labour Welfare (respondent No. 3) be directed to look into the matter. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No. 3 to consider petitioner’s representation and take decision as per law, within three months from date of presentation of certified copy of this order. 6. Pending application (s), if any, stand disposed of.
