In view of the grounds stated, delay of 28 days in filing the present revision is condoned. Delay condonation application (IA/1/2024) stands allowed as such. 5. Heard on the merits of case. 6. This revision is preferred against the order dated 08.05.2024 passed by learned Judge, Family Court, Khatima, U.S. Nagar in Misc. Crl. Case No.144 of 2023 (Renu Chand Rajput v. Santosh Chand Rajput). 7. Facts of the case are that an application seeking interim maintenance @Rs.20,000/- per month was moved by respondent-wife against the revisionist. The ground for seeking maintenance was that their marriage was solemnized on 8.6.2017 and due to the harassment meted out to her on the ground of demand of dowry, she was ousted from the matrimonial house in October, 2020. The revisionist filed his objection to the said application stating that the respondent-wife is fully competent to maintain herself. The Court below having regard to the facts of the case granted Rs.5,000/- per month as interim maintenance to respondent wife from the date of application. The Court recorded the finding that she was staying in her parents’ house while revisionist is having 08 bighas of land besides a house in Mumbai. From his job at Mohali he gets Rs.33,000/- p.m. as salary. Accordingly, the maintenance was awarded. 8. I have heard the contentions of learned counsel for the parties and I am of the view that there is no ground to interfere with the impugned order. The findings recorded are the findings of fact. Moreover, it is an order passed on the interim maintenance application while the final order is yet to be passed. 9. Accordingly, there is no merit in this revision and the same is dismissed.
