According to petitioners, they are engaged as outsourced employee, through UPNL, in Government Medical College, Haldwani since last several years. According to them, they have not been paid salary since October 2022. 5. By means of this writ petition, petitioners have sought the following relief:- (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus, commanding and directing the Respondents to pay the salary of the Petitioners and other dues from the month of October, 202 to till date along with the interest. 6. After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have made representation to Chief Project Officer, UPNL, Haldwani and also to Principal of concerned College. He confines his prayer and submits that both the Authorities be directed to take decision on petitioners’ representations, which are on record as Annexure 20 & 21 to the writ petition. 2025:UHC:8008 7. Learned counsel for the respondents submit that they have no objection, if the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners. 8. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Principal, Government Medical College, Haldwani and Chief Project Officer, UPNL to take decision on petitioners’ representations, as per law, within six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
