The case of the petitioner in nutshell is that, the respondent has filed four complaints in terms of provisions of Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act against him which are pending disposal in different courts of Judicial Magistrates at Jammu. That she has filed a transfer application with the prayer that all the four petitions be transferred for disposal under law to the Court of one of the Magistrates for sake of convenience and to prevent the conflicting orders/judgments being passed, which is pending before the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jammu. 3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the petition is disposed of at this threshold stage with the direction to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jammu to proceed expeditiously on the pending transfer petition so as to dispose of the same within a shortest possible period, not exceeding a period of four weeks from the date of the forthcoming hearing of the said petition, with liberty Sr. No. 115 2 CRM(M) No.1190/2025 to consider the passing of any appropriate orders pending disposal of the said petition. 4.
