The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Deodanr P.S. Case No. 32 of 2023, S.T. Case No.71 of 2024, for the offence registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Godda. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 12176 of 2023, by order dated 25.04.2024. On 28.10.2023 at about 10.30 p.m., daughter of the Informant was murdered by unknown persons. During the course of investigation, petitioner was apprehended and, on his confession, bloodstained cloth and shoes were recovered. Report regarding the stage of the trial, earlier called for, has been received. It appears that only one witness remains to be examined. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that the trial is at the fag end of its conclusion, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. Learned Trial Court shall dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
