The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents states that the petitioner is an encroacher and is occupying Government land and the shelter (Nizhal Kudai) has also been put up only in the Government land. However, the said representation is based on written instructions received by the learned Government Advocate. It would suffice to direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2025 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. In fine, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
