By invoking a criminal jurisdiction of this Court, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 10.03.2025, passed in Original Maintenance Case No. 268 of 2024, wherein by way of interim measure, the Principal Judge, Family Court, Bokaro has directed the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs. 6000/- i.e. Rs. 2000/- for his wife and Rs. 4000/- for the minor son. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the quantum is on higher side and the petitioner has a liability of his mother also. 4. The relationship between the parties is not disputed. By virtue of the impugned order, only by way of interim measure, the maintenance has been awarded. For subsistence, this is a meagre amount which cannot be said to be exorbitant, thus, I am not inclined to interfere with the same. However, since the 2025:JHHC:21275 2 matter is pending, the Principal Judge, Family Court, Bokaro is directed to take steps so that the proceeding be concluded without any delay.
