GP MUNCIPAL ADMN AND URBAN DEV AP The Court made the following: 3 ORDER:- Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the State submitted that some of the street vendors have been identified in pursuance of the interim directions passed in W.P. (PIL) No. 81/2025, whereby the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court directed the respondents not to issue further licenses to street vendors anywhere in the State till there is a plan in place prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014. 2. It is submitted that, in pursuance of the directions of the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court, the respondent authorities have identified the places for granting permissions to the street vendors, and further action shall be taken subject to the outcome of W.P. (PIL) No. 81/2025. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that, after the filing of the writ petition, the petitioner was allotted an alternate earmarked space for conducting business. The respondents would have to comply with the further directions passed by this Court in W.P. (PIL) No. 81/2025. 4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
