On 15.01.2025 the following order was passed: "Heard Shri Shrawan Kumar Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 and 2- State and Shri Anand Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the respondents No.3 and 4. The petitioner superannuated from service on 01.01.2021. The retiral dues and other entitlements of the petitioner were paid to him after delay. The petitioner specifically asserted that the respondents are responsible for the delay in payment of the aforesaid dues. This fact has not been traversed in the counter affidavit. With the consent of Shri Shrawan Kumar Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Anand Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the respondents No.3 and 4, the interest amount is rounded off and is fixed at Rs.50,000/- (Fifty Thousand only). The said amount shall be disbursed to the petitioner before the next date of listing. Put up this matter on 18.02.2025 in the list of fresh cases. In case the respondents seek to contest the aforesaid amount which has been agreed by Shri Anand Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the respondents No.3 and 4, the Executive Officer, Nagar Palika Parishad, Basti, District-Basti shall remain present along with the records of the case and his affidavit detailing the reasons for resisting the aforesaid amount." Shri Anand Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the respondent submits that the amount has been credited to bank account of the petitioner. The statement of bank account of the respondents has been filed and is taken in the record. The writ petition is disposed of in terms of the submissions made by Shri Anand Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the respondent.
