Pundir, Advocate, for the respondent no. 2 and 3. (2) Petitioner is serving as Driver in Uttrarakhand Transport Corporation and after attaining the age of superannuation, he retired. According to him, he was not given benefit of 6th Pay Revision, w.e.f. 01.10.2006. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:- “a. Issue a writ, order, direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 2 & 3 to grant the petitioner the full benefits of the 6th Pay Commission effective from 01.10.2006, along with all arrears and applicable interest.” (3) Learned counsel appearing for Uttarakhand Transport Corporation submits that even though petitioner has sought a writ of mandamus, but there is no document showing that he made a demand to the Competent Authority before approaching this Court. (4) Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make representation to Managing Director, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, within three weeks from today. If petitioner makes representation within stipulated 2025:UHC:8062 time, Managing Director shall consider his case for granting benefit of 6th Pay Commission and pass appropriate order, as per law, within four months thereafter.
