JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR MEDHI ORDER 14.06.2025 This is an appeal filed by the appellant-claimant against the judgment and award dated 07.12.2015 passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Page No.# 2/2 Tribunal, Goalpara, Assam (for short MACT, Goalpara) in MAC Case No. 134/2011 praying for enhancement of the Awarded. Shri RKK Sinha, Regional Manager and Shri RC Pathak, Manager of the Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. (for short Insurance Company) and the claimant-Shri Nobi Hussain along with his learned counsel, Shri AR Agarwala are present today i.e., 14.06.2025 in the National Lok Adalat. The parties present jointly submit that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and an amount Rs.1,50,000/- as full and final settlement has been agreed upon. In view of the above, the appeal stands closed with a direction that the Insurance Company shall deposit the amount of Rs.1,50,000/- being the full and final settlement before the MACT, Goalpara within a period of 45 days from today.
