By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following substantial relief: "(I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authority to grant the promotional post as Head Constable and also includes the seniority list (year 2011)." Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in above regard petitioner has already moved representation dated 6th June, 2024 before the respondent No.- 8 but the same has not been decided till date. Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection in the event representation of the petitioner is being directed to be disposed of in accordance with law, may be in a time bound period. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.- 8 to look into and consider the representation of the petitioner dated 6th June, 2024 and decide the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
