Learned Assistant Advocate General has handed over instructions received from Director School Education dated 23.02.2026, which are taken on record. Alongwith instructions, an order passed by Director is appended, in terms whereof, direction has been issued to all the Deputy Directors of School Education (Higher/Elementary) on the subject
“Clarification regarding accumulation of earned leave from date of regularization of services retrospectively in compliance to the judgments passed by the Hon’ble High Court of Himachal
2 Pradesh” to the effect that credit of earned leave may be allowed without any financial benefits in favour of TGTs who have been allowed regularization retrospectively with all consequential benefits.

In light of this development, this Court is of the considered view that the present proceedings have been rendered infructuous, as needful stands done by the Department. However, in case, the petitioners are still aggrieved in any manner with the directions which have been passed by the Authority concerned, the petitioners are at liberty to seek appropriate remedy against the same in accordance with law.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
