Page No.# 2/2 2. This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, whereby the petitioners, namely, 1. Ranjit Kumar and 2. Yogesh Chhetry have prayed for releasing them on bail after they were arrested in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 48/2024 pending in the court of the learned Additional Sessions Judge No.2, Kamrup (Metro) at Guwahati. 3. Both the petitioners are facing trial in the aforesaid case. The charges were framed on 25th March, 2025 and till now not a single witness has been examined. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsels of both sides. 5. This Court is of the opinion that the prosecution should be given some opportunity to examine some witnesses. 6. It is hereby directed that after examination of at least four prosecution witnesses, the petitioners shall be at liberty to approach this Court again seeking regular bail.
