This present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:-
“(i) Admit this Writ Petition
(ii) To issue notice upon the respondents to release the remaining gratuity amount as deposited in favour of the deceased
(iii) To issue notice upon the respondents to release the amount equivalent to the salary of the remining period of service after death and the beneficiary amount of the deceased.
(iv) Any other order/orders/directions as deemed fit and proper in the matter”.

Heard learned counsel appearing for both the parties.

Ms. S. Nandy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submit that vide representation dated 03.03.2025, her client has urged the respondents to consider his prayer. But the same is pending till date.

In terms of the above submission, without going into the merits of the case, this present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners in the light of the
representation dated 03.03.2025, submitted by the petitioner No.1 herein. If the said representation has been received by the respondents, it shall be considered within a period of 3(three) months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and the decision taken in that regard be communicated to the petitioners.

However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to submit one more representation in support of their request, if required. Upon receipt of such representation(s), the respondents shall consider the same within a period of three (3) months from the date of such receipt and communicate the same to the petitioners accordingly.

As a sequel, stay if any stands vacated. Pending application(s), if any also stands closed.
