Mr. Pradeep Chamiyal, learned counsel for the applicant. 2. Mr. Dinesh Chauhan, learned A.G.A. for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Applicant registered an FIR in Police Station, Kelekhara, District Udham Singh Nagar on 31.08.2019 against certain persons. Upon investigation, a charge- sheet was filed against respondent nos. 2 to 7 for offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 325, 504 & 506 IPC in the year 2020. 4. Learned Judicial Magistrate, Bajpur, District Udham Singh Nagar took cognizance in the matter and summoned the accused persons, vide order dated 23.01.2020. According to applicant, no progress has been made thereafter and the matter is still hanging in a balance. 5. By means of this application, filed under Section 528 of BNSS, applicant has sought a direction to the court concerned to decide Criminal Case No. 120 of 2020 (New No. 130 of 2022) as early as possible. 6. Having regard to the fact that learned Magistrate had taken cognizance against accused persons in the month of January 2020, C-528 application is disposed of with a request to court concerned to make endeavour to decide the aforesaid criminal case, within nine 2025:UHC:7737 months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
