Against the order dated 26.09.2024 passed by the respondent No.2/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Sadar District Varanasi in the proceedings initiated under Section 31/32 of the U.P. Land Revenue Code, 2006, a recall application was filed by the petitioners before the respondent No.2 on 26.10.2024. Along with the aforesaid application, an application for grant of interim protection was also filed on 08.11.2024. It is argued that though considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no decision has been taken in the matter by the respondent No.2 on the aforesaid Stay Application. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing counsel for respondent Nos.1 & 2 and Sri Vineet Sankalp, learned counsel for respondent No.3. 3. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Sadar District Varanasi to pass appropriate orders on the Stay Application strictly in accordance with law most expeditiously and preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
