JUSTICE ANAND SHARMA Order 27/08/2025 No one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that vide impugned order dated 18.02.2002 penalty of withholding one annual grade increment was imposed upon the petitioner in the year 2003. When the writ petition was filed, age of the petitioner was 46 years and by this time, he has attained age of superannuation, and has already retired. Even otherwise, on account of nature of the penalty, it was not having any permanent effect over the service benefits of the petitioner, as the stoppage of annual grade increment imposed due to impugned penalty is to revive after serving the rigour of the penalty. In view of above statement, no cause of action for pursuing the writ petition will survives and the same is hereby dismissed. (ANAND SHARMA),J DIVYA /18
