No. Date Office Notes, reports, orders or proceedings or directions and Registrar’s order with Signatures COURT’S OR JUDGE’S ORDERS BA2 No.225 of 2025 Hon’ble Rakesh Thapliyal, J. 1. Mr. Shariq Khurshid, learned counsel for the applicant. 2. Mr. V.S. Pal, learned AGA for the State. 3. Present applicant– Ranjeet Singh @ Kalu S/o Buta Singh is seeking regular bail in relation to first information report dated 18.01.2025 bearing FIR No. 0037 of 2025, Police Station Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar, wherein the present applicant along with two other co-accused have been charge-sheeted for the offences punishable under Sections 109(1), 117(2), 324(4), 351(2), 352, 190, 191(3) of BNS, 2023. 4. The first bail application bearing BA1 No.504 of 2025 was rejected by this Court on 16.05.2025 5. It is argued by learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant is innocent and has been falsely implicated, which is evident from the fact that the present applicant is not named in the FIR, however, during investigation on disclosure of his name by the injured-victim, he has been implicated. 6. Learned counsel for the applicant further submits that the charge-sheet has already been filed and as such there is no need of custodial interrogation of the present applicant. Apart from this, as per the prosecution, the main assailant is Mangal Singh, who has already been granted interim bail in Anticipatory Bail Application No.140 of 2025 but subsequently, the anticipatory bail application was dismissed in default. 7. Learned counsel for the applicant also submits that the role of the present applicant is identical to the role of other two 2025:UHC:7854 co-accused, namely, Sandeep Singh and Bobby, who have already been granted bail by this Court on 30.07.2025. Apart from this, the present applicant is having no previous criminal history. 8. On the other side, Mr. V.S. Pal, learned AGA have not disputed this fact that the role of the present applicant is identical to the role of other two co-accused, namely, Sandeep Singh and Bobby and the present applicant is having no previous criminal history and in this particular case, the charge-sheet has already been filed. 9. After hearing the arguments as advanced by learned counsel for the parties and further taking into consideration that the charge-sheet has already been filed and other two co-accused have already been enlarged on bail by this Court on 30.07.2025, this Court is of the view that the applicant deserves for bail. 10. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case, the instant bail application is allowed. 11. Let the applicant, namely, Ranjeet Singh alias Kalu, be released on bail, on his executing a personal bond and furnishing two reliable sureties, each in the like amount, to the satisfaction of the court concerned.
