This writ petition has been filed seeking following relief :- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities to restore /reopen the Gul situated in Arazi no. 199 (area 1.14) at village Nawab Nagar, Near Paduri Swar, Tehsil Swar, District Rampur by constituting new committee." 3. Instructions submitted today by learned Standing are taken on record. 4. On the basis of instructions, learned Standing Counsel has submitted that there is no encroachment on the Gul and the Gul will be opened and for that, concerned department will take appropriate action. 5. In view of the stand taken by learned Standing Counsel, no useful purpose would be served in keeping this writ petition pending. 6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent - authority to look into the grievance of petitioner and redress the same in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably, within six weeks, after providing opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties provided there is no other legal impediment.
