Mottaquee, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. K. Baishya, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor for the State respondents. 2. This I.A. has been preferred seeking suspension of sentenced and bail for the accused who has been convicted for offence under Section 326 IPC and sentenced to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment for a period of 7 years with a fine of Rs. 50,000/- and in default 6 months. 3. It is submitted by the learned counsel that there are two grounds of subsiding in the appeal and moreover the accused has already spent 6 months in jail. 4. Having regard to the above, the sentence imposed upon the petitioner by the impugned order dated 19.02.2025 is suspended. 5. The petitioner namely Abdul Sk @ Abdul Seikh is allowed to go on bail of Rs. 50,000/- with 2 sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the Addl. Sessions Judge, Goalpara. 6.
