Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, Shri Suresh Babu, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents, and perused the records. 2. The petitioners have filed the instant petition to seek protection from the police as they solemnized their Nikah without the consent of their parents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners are permanent resident of District Shamli and temporarily they are working in Haryana. 4. Learned Standing Counsel on the basis of instructions states that on police verification it's revealed that there is no threat to the life of the petitioners and father of the petitioner no.1-Kanchan Mala Sekh @ Anjali has given an undertaking to the police that he has no objection to the said marriage. 5. In view of the undertaking of the father of petitioner no.1- Kanchan Mala Sekh @ Anjali, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners that in case still they persist threat to their life and property, they may approach this Court again afresh.
