The petition is in the individual name of the petitioner and has not been instituted in the name of Smt. Santosh and in capacity of her power of attorney. 2. A Full Bench of this Court in Consolidation No. 534 of 2002 (Syed Wasif Husain Rizvi vs. Hasan Raza Khan & 6 Others) has held that the power of attorney cannot maintain a petition in his own name. 3. On this ground alone, the writ petition is dismissed without prejudice to the right of the principal to seek appropriate remedy. Order on Impleadment Application 1.
