This writ petition is disposed with a direction to the Tehsildar, Katra to consider the report No. 128/NTK dated 11.08.2025 submitted by Naib Tehsildar, Katra, Reasi related to the purported application of the petitioner- Girdhari Lal bearing a purported grievance that land comprising Khasra No. 301 of village Arli Hansali, Katra is in alleged occupation of Northern Railways beyond the scale of acquired land in Khasra No. 301. 02. Tehsildar, Katra is directed to enquire into the matter by hearing the concerned Railway Authorities as well and also Serial No. 05 Regular List 2 WP(C) No. 2930/2025 the petitioner and dispose of the matter within a period of one month be it holding that no such extra occupation of the land has taken place at the end of the Northern Railways or if Northern Railways is in use and occupation of any excess of land other than the acquired land then to pass the appropriate directions accordingly for restoration of possession of the excess land to the rightful claimants and owners whomsoever they may be. 03.
