A M BARBHUIYA Advocate for the Respondent : MR M J QUADIR, MR. A K HANNAN Page No.# 2/2 BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PARTHIVJYOTI SAIKIA ORDER 25.04.2025 Heard Mr. A M Barbhuiya, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. M J Quadir, learned counsel for the opposite party. In Criminal Petition No. 149/2023, there was an interim order passed by this court on 21.02.2023. But on 05.12.2024, due to none appearance of the petitioner, the said interim order was vacated. The present application has been filed praying for continuation/restoration of the earlier interim order. Mr. Quadir has objected to it. I have considered the submission made by the learned counsel for both sides. This court is of the opinion that for effective disposal of the connected criminal petition, continuation/restoration of the interim order is necessary. Therefore, the interim order dated 21.02.2023 passed in Criminal Petition No. 149/2023 is restored and shall continue until further order. The interlocutory application stands disposed of.
