This petition has been filed with the prayer to direct the State Authorities not to dispossess the petitioners from the land of Arazi No. 256/1 area 0.742 hectare and Arazi No. 256/2 area 0.371 hectare situated at Village Bhauniya Pargana Sumerpur, Tehsil and District Hameerpur. Perusal of the record indicates that there is a dispute in respect of the property in question between the petitioners and respondent no.5, in respect of which, civil suit has already been filed by the petitioners, which is pending. An injunction is also stated to have been granted by the Court concerned. In the event, the order of injunction is not being complied with, the remedy of the petitioners would be to approach the Court concerned by filing appropriate application under Order 39 Rule 2A CPC. The limited role of authorities of the State would be to act in aid of the orders of the Court or for preservation of peace at the spot. The State authorities shall otherwise leave the parties to get their dispute resolved by the Court concerned. Subject to the above observations made, this petition is consigned to records.
