Heard learned counsel for the appellant. 2. The appellant is calling in question the select-list of 2006 in a Writ Petition instituted in the year 2023. The Writ Petition is not merely hit by delay and laches, but is woefully belated. The lack of diligence is written all over the proceedings, and the present exercise appears to be an afterthought, to attempt and make some undeserved gains. The Writ Petition, being hit by the provisions of delay and laches, the delay, in our opinion, is wholly unsustainable, and, accordingly, IA No. 01/2024, for condonation of delay, is rejected.
