GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: 2 “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring i inaction of the Respondent Nos2 to 6 in conducting investigation and filing charge sheet/final report in Crime in FIR No.230 of 2023 dated 05.04.2023 on the file of the Ajth Singh Nagar Police Station NTR Commissionerate NTR District registered against the Respondent Nos.7 & 8 as illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable, capricious and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and contrary to the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code and the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023 and ii consequently to direct the Respondents 2 to 6 to complete investigation and file charge sheet/final report expeditiously” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the respondent/police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.230 of 2023 and file a final report. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed to conclude the investigation in the above crime and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
