The present contempt application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 28.11.2024 passed by this Court in Criminal Misc. Writ Petition No. 20435 of 2024. The relevant part of the order dated 28.11.2024 is reproduced below :- "8. Till the next date of listing or till cognizance is taken by court on police report submitted under Section 193(3) B.N.S.S., whichever is earlier, the respondents are restrained from arresting the petitioners pursuant to the First Information Report dated 14.08.2024 registered as Case Crime No. 0382 of 2024 under sections- 76, 191(2), 115(2), 329(4), 351(2), 352 B.N.S. 2023, Police Station Naubasta, South (Commissionerate Kanpur Nagar), District Kanpur Nagar, subject to cooperation in ongoing investigation." It is not the case of the applicants that the applicants have been arrested by the concerned police ofÏcers. In view of the aforesaid, no violation or disobedience of the order of this Court can be imputed to the opposite parties, so as to register proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.
