O R D E R The Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondent to register the document presented by the petitioner for registration without insisting on the production of the original parental document. 2. The petitioner would submit that she is the absolute owner of the subject property. The petitioner decided to settle the property in favour of her daughter, Thangamani and accordingly, presented the settlement deed for registration before the respondent. In the light of the Judgements passed by this Court in P.Pappu Vs. The Sub Registrar and Ramayee - Vs - The Sub Registrar and others, the refusal cannot be sustained. 4. The Writ Petition is allowed. The impugned refusal check slip is quashed. The respondent is directed to register the document, within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
