HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU Case: OWP No. 882/2010 Inhabitants of Village Gujjar Basti, Kathua ..... Petitioner(s)/Appellant(s) Through :- None. Vs Education Department .....Respondent(s) Through :- Ms. Chetna Manhas, Advocate vice Mr. Raman Sharma, AAG CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE WASIM SADIQ NARGAL, JUDGE ORDER5R 22.09.2025 Record reveals that the instant petition has come up before this Court after 15 years and during this intervening period, no effort has been made on part of the petitioner to get the instant petition listed. With the efflux of time, the instant petition has been rendered infructuous, as the petitioner, through this petition is seeking direction against the respondents to appoint one Urdu Teacher in newly Primary School Gujjar Basti Chack Kana, Zone Marheen, Tehsil Hiranagar District Kathua. Today, when the instant petition was taken up, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, an inference can be drawn that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the instant petition. Furthermore, the relief sought by the petitioner in the year 2010 has lost its relevance and cannot be granted at this belated stage. In the aforesaid backdrop, the writ petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous along with all connected application(s). Interim direction, if any, shall stand vacated. (WASIM SADIQ NARGAL) JUDGE JAMMU 22.09.2025 Mihul Sr. No. 43
