This instant Interlocutory Application has been filed by the applicant/petitioner for modification/alteration of the condition of bail imposed by order dated 26.05.2025 in B.A. No. 1184/2025 in connection with Bongaigaon GRPS Case No. 39/2025 under Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of the NDPS Act, 1985. 3. As per the said condition as reflected at Para -7(ii), the accused therein shall not leave the territorial jurisdiction of the Bongaigaon GRPS without obtaining prior written permission from the learned Special Judge (NDPS), Bongaigaon. 4. It is submitted that the petitioner is a resident of Dibrugarh, where he also has his business and the aforesaid condition is therefore quite onerous as he is required to be in Dibrugarh most of the time. 5. Having regard to the above as well as the fact that the condition requiring the presence of the petitioner before the I.O. as and when called for is already in existence, I deem it fit to delete the condition at Para-7(ii) requiring the petitioner to seek written permission of the learned Special Judge (NDPS), Bongaigaon to leave the territorial jurisdiction of the Bongaigaon GRPS. Page No.# 3/3 6. The said condition mentioned at Para-7(ii) in B.A. No. 1184/2025 accordingly stands deleted. 7. It is further provided that the petitioner shall inform the I.O. of Bongaigaon GRPS regarding his present address along with his mobile number and also inform him regarding any subsequent change in his address. 8. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this Interlocutory Application stands disposed of. 9. This order be read together with the order dated 26.05.2025 passed in B.A. No. 1184/2025.
