And In Re : Masum Reza Biswas @ Masum Sk. …..Petitioner Mr. Sandip Chakraborty Mr. Koustav Das ……….for the Petitioner Mr. Abhinaba Mukherjee ……….for the State Re : CRAN 1 of 2025 This is an application for relaxation of condition of bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 20th March, 2025 passed in CRM (DB) 617 of 2025. Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that at the time of granting bail, condition was imposed not to enter the jurisdiction of Domkal Police Station. However, the petitioner being a student of B.A. under University of Kalyani is to appear in the examination which is scheduled to begin from 28th April, 2025 and end on 16th May, 2025. He seeks for relaxation of the condition of bail granted to the petitioner. Learned Advocate for the State submits that the petitioner is reporting to the Officer-in-Charge of Domkal Police Station in terms of order dated 20th March, 2025 passed by this Hon’ble Court. He files a copy of letter of Inspector-in-Charge of 2 Domkal Police Station dated 25th April, 2024, which is taken on record. By order dated 20th March, 2025 at the time of granting bail in CRM (DB) 617 of 2025 this Hon’ble Court directed the petitioner not to enter the jurisdiction of Domkal Police Station. The admit card of the petitioner shows that he is to appear in B.A. 1st Semester Examination, 2024 under University of Kalyani and is scheduled to begin on 28th April, 2025 and will end on 16th May, 2025. The petitioner is a student of Domkal College and the examination is to be held in the home centre. In view of the above, the condition of not to enter the jurisdiction of Domkal Police Station is relaxed for the time being. The petitioner is allowed to enter the jurisdiction of Domkal Police Station for appearing in B.A. 1st Semester Examination, 2024 as per schedule from 28th April, 2025 till 16th May, 2025. The aforesaid condition will take effect on and from 17th May, 2025 onwards. Accordingly, the application being CRAN 1 of 2025 stands disposed of. (Bivas Pattanayak, J.)
