Hon'ble Ashwani Kumar Mishra,J. Hon'ble Donadi Ramesh,J. Petitioner wants consideration of his representation dated 14.11.2024. The representation is contained in Annexure-1 which is in respect of certain contractual work performed by the petitioner between 1985 to 1987. We fail to understand as to how such belated claim can be pressed now after expiry of nearly 40 years. In the event payment was not released to the petitioner within a reasonable period a cause of action did arise to him to have approached the competent forum. The limitation ordinarily for such purposes would be three years by virtue of Clause 137 of the schedule to the Limitation Act. A belated claim after such long lapse of time, therefore, cannot be revived by issuing a direction to consider such representation. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed.
